The TotalCAE Platform 2024.2 monthly release is out with some exciting new features, including our first Windows portal client to submit from Windows machines, new Analytics for per-node-level usage patterns, options to control users’ access to software and versions, Azure Cloud Desktops, and more!

New Node Utilization Analytics

The first dashboard shows how busy each node is over time. Many clients want to report to management usage by node(s) instead of overall HPC utilization.

A second dashboard also shows node utilization by cores utilized versus cores allocated. It reports how many job failures this node participated in, which makes it easier to spot problem nodes in large-scale deployments.

Control Access to  Software and Specific Software Releases by User or Group

Some clients require their users to release a part or product on a specific application release, and you need to restrict what versions different teams can use to avoid them accidentally using versions that are not certified for their program. We can create custom messaging and workflows for this now.

Windows Native TotalCAE Portal Client “tsubmit”

The Windows version of our command line portal, “tsubmit,” is available. It makes it easier to submit from Windows machines to Linux HPC clusters and clouds and integrate Windows desktop tools and Enterprise PLM systems with the HPC.
